Search & command palette

⌘K (Ctrl+K on Windows and Linux) opens the glass command palette on any screen. It searches everything and runs quick actions without leaving your current view.

Search everything

The palette searches your whole workspace as you type:

  • Issues by key (MOB-42) or by words in the title.
  • Projects, to jump straight to a board or backlog.
  • Knowledge base articles, such as a runbook.
  • People, to open a teammate's profile.

The best match is already selected. Press Enter to open it. The palette only finds what you can reach: issues and projects through your project access, articles only when you may read them. That holds for admins too.

Keys are the fastest jump

If you know the issue key, just type it. INF-7 and Enter takes you straight to the issue.

Quick actions & triggers

Alongside results the palette offers actions: create an issue, switch project, change theme or open settings. Common tasks take just a few keystrokes.

Recents

Open the palette with an empty query and it shows your recent issues and destinations. Switching between two tasks is quick.

Anywhere, any device

  • Keyboard: ⌘K / Ctrl+K to open, arrow keys to move, Enter to go, Esc to close.
  • Mobile: the palette opens as a sheet, so search is one tap away on your phone.

It's the same palette everywhere

Dashboard, issue or article: ⌘K works the same way everywhere.
